We are a family owned company serving the Greater Cincinnati area.  Originally operated under the name W & H Plumbing and General Contracting, Inc., we have been in business since 1964 serving some of the city’s most reputable kitchen and bath suppliers.  We took our vast knowledge and impeccable skills and begin contracting independently, starting Kitchen and Bath Innovations to serve Cincinnati home owners with the best kitchen and bath remodeling in our city.

Owner

Greg Gumbert

Kitchen and Bath Innovations is owned and lead by Greg Gumbert. Greg's journey in this field began in 1976 where he learned the trade through an apprenticeship under his father, Robert, one of the original owners. In 1985, Greg furthered his expertise by completing plumbing school, and earned his license as a Master Plumber from the OCILB (Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board).In 1993, after years of learning and honing his skills, Robert retired and passed on the family business to Greg. This transition ensured the continued provision of plumbing and kitchen and bath remodeling services to the Cincinnati area. Greg's extensive knowledge, years of experience, and evident pride in his work have contributed to the company's success. This commitment to excellence distinguishes Kitchen and Bath Innovations from its competitors and leaves customers satisfied with the services they receive. Beyond his professional life, Greg enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Anna, with whom he has shared more than 30 years of marriage. His personal interests include outdoor activities such as camping and golfing.

 
 

 
 

Design/Sales Manager

Steven Gumbert

Steven has a rich background in the family business and has made a successful career at Kitchen and Bath Innovations. Steven began his journey with Kitchen and Bath Innovations as a part-time installer while attending college at Shawnee State University. He has progressed from being an installer to now overseeing all aspects of kitchen and bath remodels as the Design & Sales Manager, as well as all purchasing. In his personal life, he values spending time with his wife, Heidi, and their children, Brody, Keira, and Kingsley, along with their dog, Bruno. Steven also has a range of hobbies and interests, including playing basketball & pickleball, going snowboarding, and golfing with friends and his father, Greg.

 
 

 
 

Business Manager

Corina Sprankles

Corina started working part-time in the family business while pursuing her education at the University of Cincinnati. Her initial role involved handling the company's bookkeeping, but as the business expanded and opened a showroom, her responsibilities grew significantly. Corina is responsible for various aspects of Kitchen and Bath Innovations' operations, including managing customer accounts, overseeing HR matters, handling billing and receiving, and ensuring the day-to-day operations run efficiently and productively. Outside of work, Corina's life is centered around her family and community involvement. She lives in Loveland, Ohio, with her husband, William, and their two children, Peyton and Kellan and their two dogs, Jax and Astro. She's an active parent, attending her children's sporting events and even taking on the role of team mom/manager for her children’s various teams. Additionally, Corina enjoys playing pickleball in her free time, highlighting her passion for staying active and enjoying recreational activities and spending time with family and friends.

 
 

 
 

Designer

Amber Bay

Amber is an interior designer with more than ten years in the industry. She graduated from O’More College of Design in Franklin, TN in 2010 and has since worked in furniture, office design, new home construction and kitchen and bath remodeling. Her work has been featured at Cincinnati Homearama and Housetrends Magazine. Amber is currently a Kitchen and Bath Designer with Kitchen and Bath Innovations. She is happiest working with homeowners to realize their vision in redesigning their homes. Outside of the office, Amber spends her time with her husband Lance, and their two cats, Charles and Candy. Together, they enjoy bike riding, travelling and playing board games. Creatively, she enjoys creating stained glass pieces and paintings.

 
 

 
 

Project & Design Assistant

Bree Plush

Bree is the most recent employee to join the KBI team. As a Project and Design Assistant, Bree assists homeowners in the planning, design, and execution of their kitchen and bathroom renovation projects. Bree's background in kitchen and bath design, combined with her education from Florida State College at Jacksonville, makes her a valuable asset to both homeowners and KBI alike. With her passion for creating unique, functional, and aesthetically pleasing spaces for homeowners, she can offer expertise and design solutions to clients looking to renovate or construct kitchen and bathroom spaces. Outside of the office, Bree loves exploring new places with her husband, Jackson and their dogs, Atlas and Apollo. She also enjoys reading, finding new hobbies and exploring the new city she now calls home.

 
 

 
 

Front Desk Representative

Janet Holifield

Janet joined KBI in the summer of 2021. She plays a crucial role at KBI, especially in ensuring a positive customer experience in the showroom. As the first point of contact, Janet welcomes customers when they arrive at the showroom, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere. She is knowledgeable about the products and services offered by KBI and can answer any questions customers may have. Janet is willing to show customers around the showroom, giving them a comprehensive look at what KBI has to offer. If customers require more detailed information or want to discuss specific aspects of KBI's offerings, Janet can bring in other team members to assist in the conversation. Janet takes responsibility for ensuring that the showroom is always clean and well-maintained noting that “A clean and organized showroom is essential for leaving a positive impression on customers.” Janet is a life-long resident of Anderson Township. She and her husband, Tim have been married for 35 years and share three adult children, two grandchildren and another on the way! Janet’s hobbies outside of the office include gardening, collecting Precious Moments figurines, reading and relaxing with family & friends.
